Mrs. Lanell McKibben Alexander, age 89, of Cedartown, passed away on Dec. 10, 2022 at her residence.
Lanell was born on Jan. 8, 1933, to the late Chester and Zelma Maddox McKibben. Lanell was a member of 2nd. Baptist Church in Cedartown.
Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, J.W. Alexander, a brother: Joe R. McKibben, and a sister: Bobbie Hooper.
Lanell is survived by a son: James “Sonny” Alexander, (Beth), a daughter: Jeannene (Van) Powell, six Grand-children, fourteen Great-Grand children, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In accordance to Mrs. Lanell’s wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Lanell McKibben Alexander, and is honored to serve the family.
