Mr. John Ellis Dollar, age 75 of Silver Creek, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.
He was born on April 8, 1948 in Rome, Georgia. He was the son of the late Hubert and Ruby Dooley Dollar.
Mr. Dollar is survived by his sons, Ronald Ellis Dollar and Gregory Keith Dollar; grandchildren, Jonathan Dollar, Ashley Dollar, Justin Dollar and Kendal Dollar; and great-grandchild, Timberly Jade Morris.
The funeral service for Mr. Dollar will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at two o’clock in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Shane Lindsey, Mr. Donald Lindsey and Mr. Justin Dollar officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Full Military Rites conducted by Brown-Wright Post 12 American Legion.
The family of Mr. Dollar will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jonathan Dollar, Darrell Norris, Jimmy Norris, Sonny Gillham, Dewitt Holsey, Brandon Porter and Christopher Garrett.
