Mr. John Daniel Rampley Sr., age 80, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.
He was born on September 27, 1943 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Roy Monroe and Lily Mozell Prewett Rampley.
Mr. Rampley is survived by his son, John Daniel “Jay” Rampley, Jr., sisters, Dora Mae Earley and Jeanette Haney; and brother, Roy Rampley.
Mr. Rampley is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cynthia Kathleen Rampley; sisters, Ethel Bowen and Ellen Isham; and brothers, Seal Rampley and Robert Rampley.
In keeping with Mr. Rampley’s wishes he was cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held in the family lot of Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at two o’clock in the afternoon with Rev. Eddie Benefield officiating.
The family of Mr. Rampley will receive family and friends on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from one o’clock in the afternoon until the graveside hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
