Mrs. Jean Wood, age 83 of Cedartown, GA, passed away Thursday February 1, 2024.
Mrs. Wood was born July 20, 1940, to the late Mr. Walter Fincher and the late Willie Vae Lively Fincher.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Wood and siblings, Lorene Hopkins, Nellie Wood, Betty Phillips, Dorothy Bailey, Frankie Reese, and Caroline Wood.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her loving sons, John Waymond Wood (Sandra) and Kelly Wood (Leah); grandchildren, Tiffany Cook (Charles), Brent Wood, Kerry Wood, Dustin Wood, Allen Pruitt, and Courtney Wood; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Sunday February 4 from 3:00-5:00 PM at the Litesey Funeral Home. Interment will conclude at a later date at the Northview Cemetery.
