Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Atkins Christian, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. She was born on June 25, 1952, in Dekalb County, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Golden and Virginia Omi Noles Atkins.
Ms. Christian is survived by her daughters, Tonya Thomas (Justin), Dondra Bagley (Brandon), and Teshia Bagley; son, Donald Bagley, Jr. (Amanda); sister, Joyce Shanks (David); brother, Randall Atkins (Joyce); 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Bill Daughtery.
Ms. Christian is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Debra Kay Atkins; and brother, Tommy Atkins.
The funeral arrangements for Ms. Christian will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Reynolds officiating. In keeping with Ms. Christian’s wishes she will cremated after the funeral service.
The family of Ms. Christian will receive family and friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to the Gammage Funeral Home with help of the service for Ms. Christian.
