Former Polk County Commissioner and State Representative candidate Jennifer Hulsey joined the thousands of supporters of President Donald Trump over the weekend in Washington D.C., letting the voices of voters who stand behind the President following the latest challenge of the election failing to get a hearing from the United States Supreme Court, and ahead of today’s Electoral College vote.
Hulsey and her son Will traveled to the nation’s capital to take part in this past Saturday’s rally put on by the Women for America First, of which she works as a board member. The organization was also responsible for a November 14 rally.
She explained that the rally was to show support for the President from Americans, and “he should continue to fight against the voter fraud and illegal votes that have been counted in this election.”
Hulsey added that “there are so many things wrong with this election and how the votes were counted and how many states have many questions to answer, especially the state of Georgia. I am very upset with elected officials who are not working for the people of Georgia and standing up for our votes. This is not about being a republican or democrat this is about being an American. If they do this now and get away with it, our country will never be the same again. I will not back down and continue fighting alongside great patriots. And I am proud of our work at Women for America First.”
Along with the chance to gather with fellow supporters in Washington over the weekend, Hulsey and her son also got the chance to see former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn.
