Jordan Hubbard is now officially Commissioner Hubbard.
Probate Judge Bobby Brooks conducted a swearing-in ceremony this afternoon, February 20, at the Polk County Courthouse as Hubbard was joined by his wife Jessica to take the oath of office.
Hubbard was nominated and voted on by the board last Thursday, February 15, as the new District 1 commissioner replacing Scotty Tillery after his untimely passing at the beginning of the year. Hubbard was one of seven candidates who were seeking to fill the seat for the remainder of the year.
The former Cedartown City Commissioner, educator and local entrepreneur will join the rest of the Board of Commissioners for their first meeting on Tuesday, March 5.
