Polk County Chamber of Commerce gearing up for return of Homespun 2021 on October 2
The Polk County Chamber of Commerce has a new look they unveiled in recent days on their Facebook page with a new logo, along with some important news for an upcoming festival being held on October 2.
The annual event is being held this year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is one day only on Saturday for 2021 will be offering 12-by-12 foot spaces for vendors, who can get additional space upon request.
Polk County businesses and organizations will get a $25 discount for taking part in the upcoming festival.
Vendor and sponsor applications are now available online for those who want to have a booth during the event or help sponsor the annual festival, which helps fund the Polk County Chamber of Commerce.
Applications for vendors start at $75 for vendors seeking to place crafts or attractions in designated areas at Homespun, and start at $250 for a space for food vendors.
Non-profit groups looking to reach the Homespun crowd can also get booth space for $75.
Electricity for vendors costs extra, but those wishing to bring generators to provide their own power will need to let organizers know ahead of time. Setup time on the day of the festival is 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.

The return of Homespun 2021 comes following a year where the annual festival was forced to take a break because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Homespun is usually held in July but has moved to October this year.
