Mr. Herman D. “Bud” Green Sr., age 84, of Aragon, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
He was born on February 11, 1938 in Floyd County. He was the son of the late Herman Oliver Green and Rody Lee Highfield Drummond.
Mr. Green was a member and deacon at Sardis Methodist Church in Fish Creek.
Mr. Green is survived by his son, Herman “Dee” Green (Michelle); daughter, Trina Green; sister, Ruby Nell Edward; and grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher, Corey, Dylan, Matthew, Chelsey, Nikki, Vanessa, and Sarah.
Mr. Green is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Lewis Drummond, Sr.; first wife, Louise Butler Green; second wife, Frankie Wallace Green; grandson, Colby Shawn Green; sister, Doris Sherbert; brothers, David N. Green; Lewis Drummond, Jr., and James Green.
The funeral service for Mr. Herman D. “Bud” Green will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Green will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from five o’clock in the evening until seven o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brandon, Christopher, Corey, Dylan, Matthew, and David.
