Mrs. Gwendolyn Marie Duncan Jackson, age 66 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. She was born on February 27, 1957 in Fort Stewart, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Christopher Herschel and Barbara Palmer Duncan.
Mrs. Jackson was a phenomenal Mother and worked hard to provide for herself and her daughter. She loved working with children, practical jokes, and general shenanigans of any kind.
Her proudest accomplishment was becoming a “Meema” to Jackson and Grace. Mrs. Jackson was loved by many and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughter, Amy Lynn Copeland and son-in-law Allen Copeland. She is also survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Jackson Ross Copeland and Grace Allyn Copeland. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her uncle, Jerry W. Palmer; her brother, Mike Duncan (Lori) and niece Michelle Powell; sister, Cathy Korner and nephew Michael McCurry and many other much loved family members.
Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Richard Lynn Jackson.
In keeping with Mrs. Jackson’s wishes, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mrs. Amy J. Copeland speaking.
The family of Mrs. Jackson will receive family and friends on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from one o’clock in the afternoon until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
