Mr. James Franklin “Frankie” Landrum, age 84, passed away, Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Mr. Landrum was born October 19, 1939, in Cedartown, Georgia, son of the late Homer Howard “Mut” Landrum and Oler Ree Landrum.

Mr. Landrum was a native of Cedartown. He was a longtime Mason and Shriner. He had a lengthy career with Georgia Power as an electrical Contractor.

He always enjoyed an afternoon of “front porch sitting” or working on cars.

Mr. Landrum was a family man, always making time for those he loved. He had a special relationship with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Landrum was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Landrum, Herbert Landrum, Larry Landrum, and David Landrum, Sr.; sister, Yvonne Brookshire; and grandson, Ricky Landrum.

Mr. Landrum is survived by his son, James “Tony” Landrum; daughters, Tammy Madsen, Teress Henderson, Terry Cambron and her husband, Robert, and Tracy Landrum; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 3:00 in the afternoon in the sanctuary of Faith Baptist Church, with Reverend Danny Tucker and Reverend Donnie Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Kyle Landrum, Justin Ward, DJ Bruce, Kenny Brookshire, Christopher Salmon, Christopher Johnson, and Jovanny Hernandez. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mr. BJ Ward and Teress Henderson

Mr. Landrum’s family will receive friends, also on Saturday, from 1:00 in the afternoon until the funeral hour at Faith Baptist Church.
