Mrs. Ella G. Collins, age 89, of Marietta,Ga. passed away Sept. 27, 2022 at a healthcare facility.
Ella was born in Polk Co. Ga. on, Sept. 25, 1933 to the late Albert C. Garrett and Mary Smith Garrett. Ella had an A.S. degree in Business in bookkeeping and accounting and retired in insurance and retail.
Besides her parents, Ella was proceeded in death by her husband, Jack Collins, and all her siblings.
Survivors include a son:David Collins, three Grand-children: Daryl Collins, Amanda Jackson, and Shasaundra Smith, three Great-Grand-Children: Travis Jackson, Garrett Collins and Alexia Rose Jackson.
Funeral services for Ella G. Collins will be held on, Sat. October 1, 2022, at 2 pm, in the chapel of Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home, 230 S. College St. Cedartown, GA. 30125, with her grand-son, Daryl Collins, officiating, interment will follow in the New Prospect Cemetery, in Aragon, Ga.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sat. Oct. 1, 2022, from 12 pm until the funeral hour. The following gentlemen will serve as Pallbearers and include, Travis Jackson, Jeremie Prater, Clayton Teal and Josh East, and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 pm. on Saturday.
