Elaine Tayna Nowotny Stubblefield Founds, age 90, of Rockmart, GA, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Elaine was born on March 10, 1932, in Dayton, OH at her paternal grandparents’ home. A daughter of the late Mr. Eldven T. Nowotny and Marguerite Alena Youtsey Nowotny. Elaine was the first (living) grandchild of George and Clara Youtsey.
Elaine graduated from Northridge High School in Dayton, OH. She worked for Ohio Bell Telephone Company after graduation. She married John M. Stubblefield and they then moved to Vandalia, OH on Westhafer Rd. and eventually Miller Lane in Dayton, OH until retiring to Port Richey, FL. After being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, Elaine moved to her daughter’s house (Rebecca and Darrell Pugh) where she lived out the rest of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husbands: John M. Stubblefield and Russell A. Founds and her son, Terrence L. Stubblefield.
Elaine is survived by her loving children: Rebecca (Darrell) Pugh of Rockmart, GA and Kirk T. Stubblefield of Beverly Hills, FL. 8 grandchildren, several great -grandchildren, a brother and sister in-law, Melvin A. and Connie Nowotny of Centerville, OH. and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, Elaine will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
