Mrs. Dorothy Sue Brown Clay, age 76, of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
She was born on December 17, 1945 in Anniston, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Harvel and Audrey Fleming Brown.
Mrs. Clay is survived by her daughter, Kimly Barnette; sons, Kyle Clay (Marcia) and Tommy Clay (Shea); sister, Kathy Brown; brother, Phillip Brown; grandchildren, Kara Klemke, Jessie Jones (Luke), Kristopher Barnette (Hannah), Skye Clay, Cameron Clay (Kelsey), and Carson Clay; great-grandchildren, Heaven Klemke, Ariana Klemke, Carter Jones, Isaac Barnette, Addison Clay, Easton Clay, Rebekah Barnette and Hunter Barnette; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clay is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Eugene Clay; son, Brian Galen Clay; and brother, Jerry Lee Brown.
A graveside service for Mrs. Clay will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the family lot of Lime Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ed Dickens officiating.
The family of Mrs. Clay will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from one o’clock in the afternoon until the graveside service hour at Gammage Funeral Home.
