Events coming up in Cedartown and Rockmart will give people the chance to learn how to save a life in case of an emergency thanks to AdventHealth Redmond EMS officials in February.

First to say this up front: NO CERTIFICATION OF CPR TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED AT THIS EVENT.

The sessions being put on by the paramedics who go out and provide lifesaving immediate care to residents across the community will be on hand on Thursday, February 8 in Rockmart at the Nathan Dean Community Center from 5:30 to 8 p.m. providing some hands-on opportunities to learn how to provide CPR in case of an emergency.

The same event will be repeated for Cedartown residents on Thursday, February 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex Gymnasium.

Both events are free of charge for all to come, and is meant to provide a chance to learn how to perform the lifesaving technique.
