Mr. Clifton Eugene Strong, age 79, of Montevallo, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was born on November 2, 1942 in Tallapoosa County, AL. He was the son of the late Forest Milford and Frances Ballentine Strong.
Mr. Strong is survived by his wife, Vicki Crew Strong; children, Stephan Strong, Tara Palmer (James Kendrick, III), Jonathan Palmer (Jennifer), and grandchildren, Aislyn Campbell, Kirkland Jolly, Nora Palmer, Kyle Kendrick and Kory Kendrick; and great-grandchild, Bowen Clark.
Mr. Strong is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Martha Strong Coleman and Mary Strong Christian; and brothers, Nolan Creed Strong and Milford Strong.
In keeping with Mr. Strong’s wishes, he was cremated. The family of Mr. Strong will have a memorial service on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
