Mrs. Cheryl Ann Vargason Alich, age 73 of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023.
She was born July 4, 1949 in Johnson City, New York, daughter of the late Jack Robert Vargason and the late Virginia Belle Bennett Vargason.
Mrs. Alich was a waitress having been employed by Waffle House for 30 years. She loved to cook and had a special love for her grandchildren. Her last employment was at the Waffle House in Woodstock, GA and she truly loved her patrons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Cody Christopher and Kyle Christopher.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Maxwell Alich of Cedar Bluff, AL; three daughters, Wendy (Dale) Payne of Henager, AL, Crystal (Dwayne) Helton of Dallas, GA and Heather Norman of Riverside, AL; son, Kevin Norman of Riverside, AL; two brothers, Ed (Cathy) Vargason of Zephyrhills, FL and Bill (Carol) Vargason of Bluff City, TN; sister, Nancy (Joe) Wlostowski of The Villages Florida; four grandchildren, Carmen Moore, Caleb Rivera, Dylan Norman and Tyler Norman.
A memorial graveside service for Mrs. Alich will be held at a later date in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.
