Charles Edward Baker, age 44, of Aragon, GA, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024.
Charles was born in Rome, GA, on December 4, 1979, son of Remonda Womack Compton and the late George Baker.
Charles was a carpenter and was known for his craftsmanship and dedication to his work. Charles attended Rockmart High School and was a member of Aragon Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars.
Outside of work, Charles cherished the time he had to spend with his family.
Charles is survived by his children, Mackenzie Baker and Aiden Baker; mother, Remonda Compton; mother of his children, Tiffany Baker; sisters, Norma (Jeff) Green, and Jessica (Joey) Davis. several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Charles will be held on Sunday afternoon, February 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Eulogies will be delivered by family members. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.
Charles’ family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
Pallbearers will include Terry Baker, Zack Baker, Jeremy Baker, Noah Green, Lakota Green and Robert Rayburn.
