Firefighters were quick to action this morning as a vehicle fire saw emergency personnel rush to aid a driver who saw their car go up in flames.

Details are not immediately available, but the above photo contributed by Polk County Commissioner Gary Martin shows the fire department springing into action to put out the flames before the vehicle burned up completely at the intersection of North Main Street and Jule Peek Drive in Cedartown.
