A trio of students in Elementary grades and another trio in Middle School were the top spellers for the 2023-24 school year at Covenant Christian School after they were able to emerge victorious over all comers in the Spelling Bee.

The school posted this morning that Zoey Ruhlen won first place in the Elementary grades Spelling Bee. Second place went to Lorelei Cowart, and third to Jenna Garrett.

The Middle grades top spellers included first place winner Marianne Truitt. Second went to Kayleigh Mitchell and third to Cooper Kinard.

“These students did an amazing job! We are so proud of their hard work! Congratulations to all!” the school posted on their Facebook page.

Polk School District recently held their spelling bee as well.
