The Kiwanis Club of Cedartown is bringing students a new opportunity to gain leadership experience and take part in community events.
Kiwanis members gathered with Cedartown Middle School students on Monday, March 11 to celebrate the charter of the new CMS Builder’s Club.
Kiwanis sponsored the club that has more than two dozen members in the new beginning at CMS.
Advisors Holly Rucker and Katie Allen oversee the club and mentor the first group of students who have already taken part in the Boo Bash held by the City of Cedartown, the Cedartown Kiwanis Onion Sale, and reading to elementary students among other community events.
The club offers their congratulations to these new members, and encourages other CMS students to give the club a try.
