Mrs. Bobbie Lou Stone Owen, age 86, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born on March 16, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Bruce Stone and Letha Mae Bethune Simpson.
Mrs. Owen is survived by her husband, Kenneth Joy Owen; daughter, Karen Danette Owen Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer Ware Morgan, Paige Burkhalter Cagle and Christa Lauren Holmes; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Ann Morris, Lenox Joy Cagle and Laina Alevia Cagle and nieces, Charlissa Langston Hinton, Stacey Langston and Carlotta Langston Fulton.
Mrs. Owen is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sherry Ann Owen Davenport; grandparents, Elbert Bethune and Ethel Norris Bethune and sister, Melissa Weaver Langston.
The funeral service for Mrs. Bobbie Lou Stone Owen will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon from New Hope Fellowship with Rev. Steve Fetkenhour officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
The family of Mrs. Owen will receive family and friends on Monday, September 19, 2022 from eleven o’clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at New Hope Fellowship.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Levi Cagle, Cary Morgan, Eli Vaughn, Danny Bailey, Gary Bailey and Guy Davenport.
