Mrs. Betty Ruth Womack, age 69, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022.
She was born on December 5, 1952 in Cedartown, GA, to her late parents: Thomas Benjamin Moody and Myrtle Rogers Moody.
Betty lived all her life in Aragon and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed arts and crafts , listening to music, singing and dancing. Most importantly, she loved to spend time with her family who she loved dearly. Mrs. Womack was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis Lee Womack; brother, Jerry Wayne Moody and sister, Joann Moody.
Mrs. Womack is survived by her son, Lee Womack (Angyl) of Aragon, GA; 3 daughters: Tina McGarrity (Sam) of Nahunta, GA, Joy Farmer (Shane) of Rockmart, GA, and Shea Wilson (Jamie) of Rockmart, GA; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Brenda Poole of Cedartown, GA, and Connie Wilhoit of Cedartown, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Ruth Womack will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 6:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with eulogies provided by family and friends. In keeping with the families wishes, Mrs. Womack will be cremated after the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM until the service hour at 6:00 PM.
