Mr. Anthony Leon Cox, age 65 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born on November 29, 1957 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Paul Leon Cox and Nancy Jean Jameson Cox.
He was employed by Mayfield Diary as a supervisor.
Mr. Cox is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Tona Cox Chavez and Katrina Cox; and brother, Randall Cox.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Wanda Kay Hilyer Cox; daughter, Kendra Cox Timms (Chad); son, Casey Cox (Maggie); sister, LeAnn Wiggins (Michael); and grandchildren, Abbie, AJ, Paislie, Mayson, Dakota, and Dawson.
A graveside service for Mr. Anthony Leon Cox will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at three o’clock in the afternoon in the family lot in Northview Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Pilgram officiating.
The family of Mr. Cox will receive family and friends on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from one o’clock in the afternoon until 2:30 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Dawson Timms, Dakota Timms, AJ Glen, Cody Hulsey, Eli Barrow, and James McKnight. Honorary pallbearers will be Paislie, Mayson, and Abbie.
