Mrs. Annie Lee Davis Cauthen, age 91, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1930, in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late James Owen Davis, Sr. and Vera Rudseal Davis.
Mrs. Cauthen is survived by her daughter, Melva Stewart (Dennis); sister, Elaine Henderson; brother, Rev. Owen Bud Davis, Jr.; grandchildren, Lisa Wages (J-BO) and Chad Stewart (Hailey); and great-grandchildren, Josie Wages (Justin), Sydney Wages, Kneily Stewart, Kailyn Stewart, Samuel Stewart, Kenson Stewart, JC Stewart, and Remington Stewart.
Mrs. Cauthen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Irvin Cauthen; sister, Jennie Ruth Robinson; and brothers, Dr. Larry Davis and Sherman Davis.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Cauthen will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at eleven o’clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Owen Bud Davis, Jr. and Rev. Jimmy Welchel officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Cauthen will receive family and friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from ten o’clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Chad Stewart, J-BO Wages, Justin Whitfield, Barry Davis, Doug Davis, Dwight Davis, and Danny Ely.
