Mr. Alfred Lee Womack, age 82, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home.
He was born on June 21, 1941 in Taylorsville, GA. He was the son of the late Alfred Eugene Womack and Mary Frances Barnette Womack.
Alfred spent most of his adult life in Floyd County before moving back to Polk County in 2023. He was self-employed in Roofing before retiring and in his free time, he loved to spend it fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: James Womack, Jimmy Womack, Ralph Womack, Harold Womack and Roy Womack and sisters: Martha Easterwood, Cathy Craig and Ann Womack.
Survivors include his brothers: Allen (Arlene) Womack and Rickey Womack, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Womack will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow the service at Taylorsville Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Jerry Easterwood, Brent Gentry, Justin Womack, Michael Womack, Jimmy Womack and Wayne Womack.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
