Severe weather continues to more through Polk County during the overnight hours, prompting more watches and warnings.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 1 a.m., and a flash flood warning until 6:15 a.m.
Additionally, a tornado watch was issued until 7 a.m.
Please take caution if you must drive. Otherwise, stay home and out of the severe weather. Rain can be heavy during fast-moving Storms and cause flash flooding, frequent lightning and some wind gusts up to 25 mph are expected.
