The latest round of severe weather rolling through Polk County, North Georgia and Metro Atlanta have already proven to have some damage behind them, and after suffering damage in March local residents could be staring down storms again.

A tornado watch is in effect for Polk and surrounding counties through 4 p.m. The National Weather Service in Peachtree City reports the forecast still calls for storms to continue through at least 5 p.m., with winds at least at 10 mph and gusts upward of 20 mph.

Rainy weather is expected to continue through Wednesday, with temperatures set to drop Wednesday evening down into the 40s and the highs in the 70s through the weekend.

According to 11alive.com, the Metro Atlanta area is already reporting damage from stormy weather this morning.
