This afternoon, those who want to show their patriotic fervor can head over to Rockmart this afternoon for a second annual event in front of Triangle Foods.

The annual We the People Flag Waving event is set to start from 1:30 p.m. and will continue until 6:30 p.m. in Rockmart at the corner of Triangle Foods.

The event is meant to be a display of American patriotism for and by We the People of Polk County.
