Cedartown’s next big running back – and from the UGASports.com photo they have I mean big – is Cedric Washington, and during the off-season, he’s had a training partner who is making all the difference: Nick Chubb.
UGASports.com sat down with Washington, who talked about his workouts with the Browns’ running back and former Bulldog, and how much he hopes to have a chance to go to a school like Georgia. Not that Washington hasn’t gotten plenty of offers from around the country.
Here’s an quick bit of the article:
While some high school prospects might be awestruck working next to one of the most talented running backs in the NFL, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Washington takes it all in stride.
“I don’t really see him as an NFL player. He’s just another guy like me, trying to get better and just keeping going, you know?” Washington said. “I’ve actually gotten to know him my freshman season, and overall, it’s been pretty cool working with him. He pushes me when it gets harder. He acts like my coach sometimes and tells me what I’m messing up. Then, we work on it.”
