Want to make sure that you are able to cast a ballot in the upcoming election for local, state and national positions? Then you better ensure your registration is up to date, or you have turned in your information to the state.
You can call the Board of Elections office to find out the status of your registration if the internet isn’t available, but the easiest way to find out is by going to this link from the Secretary of State’s office to find out your registration status, and to register to vote if you aren’t currently in the rolls.
Additionally, don’t forget about securing your absentee ballot by checking out this new tool from the Secretary of State’s office as well. (Previously covered here by Capitol Beat News Service.)
Call the Board of Elections at 770-749-2103 if you can’t register online, or for more information about getting an absentee ballot locally.
