Vaccination session available for 12-and-older students on July 29

As the Polk School District gets ready to return to full in-person learning for the 2021-22 Academic Year starting on August 3, there’s an opportunity for students to get vaccinated before heading back to school.

COVID-19 vaccinations are being offered in a partnership between the Polk School District and Floyd Medical Center on July 29 free of charge to those students 12 years of age and up, though anyone under 18 must have permission from their parents to get a shot.

The vaccination clinic is being held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the HON Room at the Polk County College and Career Academy campus at Cedartown High School.

This is the latest vaccination clinic being held in conjunction between the district and Floyd Medical Center.

As we welcome our students and staff back to school, Polk School District, in partnership with Floyd Medical Center, will hold an optional Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, July 29th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at PCCCA-Cedartown High School.
