A tractor trailer that was traveling northbound on Highway 101 required assistance to get back on the road this morning and caused a traffic jam on Highway 101, according to the Aragon Police.

Lt. Christian Cruz reported that the stretch of the highway between Belk Road and New Prospect Road was closed down to traffic while the truck and trailer were removed from a ditch via a tow truck. The incident occurred right in front of Aragon City Hall.

He reported that traffic had opened back up just under 30 minutes ago.

No injuries were reported in this morning’s wreck.
