Mrs. Tonie Elaine Golden Timms, age 62, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. 

Mrs. Golden Timms was born August 11, 1962 to the late Gus Barrett and Francis Lowella Loggins. Mrs. Golden was beam of light for her family and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James William Timms; and her siblings, Kenneth Barrett, Steve Barrett, Elvira Frey, and Faye Barrett.

Mrs. Golden Timms is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, James Michael Timms, Sr.; children, James Michael Timms, Jr., Jonathan Dewayne Timms, Jeremy Michael Timms, Christopher Ray Timms, Dustin Scott Timms, Brian Austin Timms, Sr., Brandy Nicole Timms, and Stacy Elaine Jones; siblings, J.L. Barrett, Barbara Pace, and Alice Freeman; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tonie Golden Timms will be conducted Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Litesey Funeral Home with Revs. John Redding and Ken Pace officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday January 7 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Litesey Funeral Home.
