Mrs. Tona Regina Cox Chavez age 62 of Cedartown passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. She was born on April 24, 1960.
Tona is preceded in death by her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Leon Cox and Nancy Jean Cox, as well as her brother Randall Ray Cox; sister, Nancy Katrina Cox; niece, Kayle Ray Cox Williams and her beloved four-legged best friend, Pepe, and Winky.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Chavez (Lena); daughter Tiya Chavez (Matt); grandchildren, Jaylyn Alvarado, Jaekob Chavez, Kaylei Chavez, and baby Kairi Lilith Chavez-Fain; ex-husband and best friend Juan Chavez; brother Anthony Cox (Wanda); sister Leann Wiggins (Michael). Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and four-legged companion, Bitty, also survive.
Following Mrs. Chavez’s wishes, she will be cremated, and there will be no service at this time.
