Mr. Terrance Malcolm “Terry” Doupe, age 80, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Terry was born in Sarnia, Ontario, a son of the late Malcolm George Doupe and Marie Robbins Doupe. Mr. Doupe spent his childhood years in Canada and the greater part of his life in Ft. Myers, FL; later he lived in Ellijay for a number of years and then moved to Rockmart in December of 2014. Terry was self-employed as a building contractor.
He had his pilot license and enjoyed flying and tinkering around in his free time. Those who knew and loved Terry would tell you he was a problem solver, very comical and loved to tell stories. He was a ministerial servant at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Doupe.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Doupe of Rockmart, GA; sons: Curtis Doupe, Bradley (Linda) Doupe, Richard Doupe and Reuben Doupe; step-children: Arlene Wanco, Edward (Melissa) Nagy and Diane (Mark) Getzy; grandchildren: Michael, Olivia, Lanie, Macey, Sadie, Laura, Kristi, Tiffany, Brett, Amanda and Victoria; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters: Carolynn, Suzanne and Gail. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Talk for Mr. Terrance Malcolm “Terry” Doupe will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 4:30 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 85 Morgan Rd. Aragon, GA. 30104. with Glenn Phillips officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM.
