Episode 3 of Talking Points on Polk.Today focuses on voting, and the work being done during the August 11 primary run off for two Republican seats, and the upcoming November General Election.

Some important points to remember from this episode that bear repeating:

1. Primary run-off day is August 11
2. Absentee ballots can be requested up until August 7
3. Early voting is only being held in Cedartown time around at the Board of Elections office at 144 West Ave. in the County Administration building
4. Anyone who needs assistance with registration for November, or getting an absentee ballot can call 770-749-2103.
5. Please consider volunteering your time to help with the upcoming Primary runoff or Election Day if you can.
