Get ready for a night of fun in Peek Park starting at 7 p.m. as Southland Soul takes the stage to open the 2021 Summer Concert Series in Cedartown.
The free concert begins at 7 p.m. and wraps up at 9 p.m., and food vendors will be on hand as well for those who want to come out and participate in the family-friendly event in the park.
Forecasts from the National Weather Service do call for some potential for showers and thunderstorms today and this evening, but only at 40% as of time of writing.
Along with music and the potential for a good meal from Bulldawgs Gourmet Hotdogs or Rudy’s, additional portions of the park will remain open for use by the public during the evening event.
That includes the playground for local youth, the walking trails around the park and more.
For those who can’t make this weekend’s show, the Summer Concert Series at Peek Park continues on July 10 with Georgia Red Clay and on August 3 with Them Mixon Boys.
