The Polk County Commission voted on several items on their regular session agenda when they gathered for the meeting on Tuesday evening, June 4, 2024, following a short break after the work session was held.

Among those decisions were several requests for zoning changes and permitted uses, a new 3-way stop intersection for Pleasant Hill Road at Everett Mountain Road, equipment for a new police car, a new postage machine for the county, the 5-year renewal document to be sent onward to the state Environmental Protection Division, and more.

They do have a called meeting coming up to approve a new millage rate for coming tax bills, and are expected to approve the FY 2025 budget.
