The annual State of the Community usually offers leaders around Polk County in various positions to take time out to talk about the accomplishments of local government and organizations throughout the past months. This year, the Polk County Chamber of Commerce took a different approach to the event and went virtual, with pre-recorded messages that are being released throughout the week.
This morning, the Chamber released the first of those video messages from Executive Director Blair Elrod.
Watch the video above to learn more about what the Chamber has been up to this year, including the work done earlier in the year to provide a COVID-19 guide when shutdowns were still underway in the spring recognized by the state, and a new partnership with Polk County’s government to provide tourism support.
Check back throughout the week for updates from municipalities and other organizations that work to make Polk County a better place on a daily basis.
