Dozens of photos were shared between Friday (our true snow day) and through the rest of the weekend after Polk County was snowed in for a while, and later watched the area thaw.

However some tiny patches remain here and there, meaning the old wives tale of “if snow sits on the ground for three days, you’re gonna get more.” Right now, that’s a ‘we’ll see’ thought as far as weather goes, but don’t rule it out. Colder weather is right around the corner.
