Local leaders, industries and business owners stopped by to enjoy a Chick-fil-A biscuit and coffee on Thursday morning to make-up for a delay in the Rockmart and Aragon Small Business Appreciation Breakfast.
The Rockmart History Museum’s conference room utilized by the Development Authority of Polk County and the Polk County Chamber of Commerce who partnered with Floyd Polk Medical Center to celebrate small businesses and the impact they have on the local economy and what they give back to the community.
The Small Business Appreciation Breakfast was previously scheduled in Rockmart for May 4, but a postponement was forced due to flooding around the Richardson Field Depot from heavy rains early last week.
The DAPC and The Chamber held a breakfast event on May 5 for Cedartown businesses.
Small Business Appreciation Week was celebrated from May 3 through May 7.
