Saying Goodbye to Bill Fann: City holds drive-thru for folks to wish City Manager a happy retirement

He’s still at his desk for this final day of his retirement, but City Manager Bill Fann got to say so long to well-wishers, longtime friends and city employees during a drive-thru event behind the Cedartown Performing Arts Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Fann, who will officially retire on October 1, was honored by the city during their September meeting. The afternoon event also offered drive-thru participants a boxed hot dog early dinner as well.

Newly appointed City Manager Edward Guzman, being promoted from his role as Assistant City Manager, takes over on Thursday morning.
