Rockmart First United Methodist Church is hoping you will give back to the community in a positive way, and all it requires is picking up some items and letting volunteers unload it from your car.

The church is hosting a Drive Thru Food Drive coming up on Saturday, July 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with donations to benefit the Helping Hands Food Pantry.

All one has to do is collect non-perishable food items to take part, and have them unloaded by church volunteers when they drive thru during the event next weekend. Find out more information by visiting the church’s Facebook page.
