Mr. Robert Lewis Norris, age 80, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Saturday May 18, 2024.
Mr. Norris was born on Barksdale Air Force Base on Bossier City, Louisiana to parents, the late Mr. Lewis S. Norris and the late Mrs. Wilma Williams Norris.
After high school, Mr. Norris proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and after his military service worked most of his life as a successful truck driver, his final job bringing him to Custom Commodities where he retired.
Mr. Norris was dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents. Mr. Norris is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Brenda Lindsey Norris. He is survived by his loving children, James Lewis Norris (Toni), Buddy Holt (Pat), Tony Holt, Cindy Morris, Melanie Dodson (John Mark), and Robin Wimpee (Marvin); sister, Martha Nelson; grandchildren, LeighAnn, Karra, Carina, Lana, Michael, Christian, Bradlee, Jessica, Brendyn, Collin, Patrick, Emily, Andrew, Brenna, Naomi, and Marlee; as well as several great-grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Norris will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted Sunday May 26, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Carter officiating. The family will receive friends at Litesey Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until the service hour at 3:00 PM. Military honors will follow the memorial service.
