Retired First Sergeant Robert D. Hall, age 92, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Sunday June 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Hall was born May 3, 1932 to the late Harold Hall and the late Mary Elizabeth Fike Hall.
Mr. Hall enlisted in the United States Army in September of 1950 and served dutifully for 20 years until retiring in 1970, earning his full retirement from the United States Army. After a long and successful career in the Military, Mr. Hall then retired from the Georgia Power Company.
Above all else, Mr. Hall was most proud of his service to his country during his Military career, serving in both Korea and Vietnam, as well as peacetime work in Germany.
Mr. Hall loved his family with every fiber of his being and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Annie Ruth Turkett Hall and his siblings, Eugene Hall and Cordele Hall.
Mr. Hall is survived by his loving wife, Betty Hall, son, Casey Hall (Missy); grandchildren, Lauren Johnson (Jacob), Erin Adams (Kendall), and Micah Hall; and great-grandchildren, Halle, Griffin, and Kahne.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday June 6, 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the United States Army Honor Guard providing full Military Honors.
The United States Army Honor Guard will serve as Pallbearers, with Mr. Hall’s grandson, Micah Hall, serving as Honorary Pallbearer alongside.
