Mr. Ricky Lee Clark, age 66, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday morning, December 23, 2022.
A native of Rockmart, Ricky was born June 29, 1956, son of the late Robert Leroy Clark and Martha Jeanette Ferguson Clark.
He had lived all his life in Rockmart and was a member of Morning View Baptist Church.
Ricky retired as a detective from the Polk County Police Department following a 20 year career and was a former County Commissioner, serving from 2009 until 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ricky is survived by his sisters, Rita (Scott) Faulkner of Orlando, FL, Darleen (Tiny) Clark of Rockmart, Lisa Clark of Decatur, GA, and Jan (Steve) Waters of Aragon, GA; brother, Michael Clark of Rome, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Ricky will be Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
Ricky’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
Pallbearers will include David Faulkner, Stephan Faulkner, Matthew Faulkner, Chris Holland, Tyler Clark, and Matthew Hulsey.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the funeral arrangements for Mr. Ricky Lee Clark.
