Polk County Police arrested a pair on multiple cruelty to children and cruelty to animal charges after they were called out to the Perry Street and Oakwood Drive area of Cedartown on a complaint of an unattended child.
Reports stated that Amber Lynn and Gregory Cole Wilson, 25 and 29 years old, of Cedartown, were taken into custody after police investigated, but that was all the report’s information provided at this time. The pair were taken into custody shortly after the unattended child report that happened on Friday, November 5 at 7:25 p.m.
Both are still in jail on six felony counts of cruelty to children in the first degree – deprivation of sustenance, and nine counts of misdemeanor cruelty to animals.
Bond was denied for both Amber and Gregory Wilson.
