A property owner alleged to police that a man found inside of a barn naked was on his property unwanted for the second time on Monday in Rockmart, according to Rockmart Police reports.
Police initially responded on Monday evening around 6:42 p.m. to the unwanted presence of Walter Eugene Weaver, 49, of a Rockmart address at a Newcomb Street address.
Officers who arrived at the scene got him to leave the first time without any further conflict. He told officers at the time that his sister dropped him off after he was “invited to the residence.”
Just over an hour later, police were back when the property owner found Weaver inside of his barn naked in a room. Police found Weaver in the barn “with his pants down” and told him to go outside.
Police immediately took him into custody when he came out, and upon searching his pants found suspected methamphetamine, an uncapped needle with suspected heroin inside, and a glass pipe that fell out of his pocket.
Weaver is alleged in the report to have told police “a little girl told him that (the property owner) told him to come back.”
Bond was denied for Weaver who remained in custody as of this posting on charges of felony methamphetamine and Schedule I controlled substance possession. He also is being held on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and possession and use of drug related objects.
