Pack up the blankets and chairs, load the kids into the car, and get ready for an evening of fun as Southland Soul takes the stage at Peek Park on Saturday evening.

The show is set to get underway at 7 p.m. and will last through 9 p.m., featuring the opportunity to get food from Rudy’s and Bulldawgs Gourmet Hotdogs during the evening as well.

Also, enjoy a chance to walk around the trails looping around Peek Park, youth can enjoy the playground and the children’s splash fountain that opened back up for business on Friday ahead of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

“Southland Soul is so excited to return to Cedartown,” Cedartown’s Public Information Officer and event organizer Aimee Madden said. “Our residents showed them so much love in 2019 and they put on a spectacular show.  I have no doubt they will do it again come June 5.”

Forecasts for Saturday called for only a slight chance of stormy weather in the evening hours – at 20% as of the time of writing – and an update on predictions for the evening will be provided prior to the show’s start.

For those who can’t make this weekend’s show, the Summer Concert Series at Peek Park continues on July 10 with Georgia Red Clay and on August 3 with Them Mixon Boys.
